Estimate your monthly cost

Linux or Windows, compute + storage + IPs, billed in INR. Compute is metered hourly and aggregated to a 720-hour month; storage and IPs are billed monthly.

Presets:

Compute (per instance)

vCPU and RAM are billed independently — pay only for the shape you actually run.

Storage (per instance)

All-flash SSD/NVMe for live volumes. Optional HDD-class space for backups and cold data.

Networking & fleet

Public IPs are per-instance; the fleet count multiplies everything above.

Identical shape × 1 for fleet pricing.

Like-for-like comparison

Same shape on AWS, Azure & Google Cloud (India)

Methodology

The hyperscaler comparison uses Intel Ice Lake (3rd Gen Xeon Scalable) instance families in their nearest India regions, on-demand Linux list price, with no commitments / Reserved Instances / Savings Plans applied. Per-vCPU and per-GiB-RAM hourly rates are derived by least-squares fit across each provider's 1:2 / 1:4 / 1:8 vCPU-to-RAM shapes within the Ice Lake family, so the customer's arbitrary (vCPU, RAM) shape lands on a consistent, auditable rate. Storage rates are baseline SSD (no provisioned IOPS premium) plus the cheapest cold-HDD class each provider sells; Public IPv4 is per-allocated-address (AWS & GCP since Feb 2024 charge for in-use IPv4 at $0.005/hr; Azure Standard Static IPv4 ~$3.65/mo). USD↦INR conversion uses the rate shown above; PrimeVistara is invoiced natively in INR per Terms §3.

Caveats

  • Hyperscaler instance families bundle vCPU and RAM at fixed ratios; the linear fit is an honest approximation for arbitrary (vCPU, RAM), but the closest standard shape on the actual provider invoice may differ by a few percent. Verify the exact rate on each provider's calculator before purchase.
  • Egress / inter-region / NAT-gateway / load-balancer / managed-service charges are not in the comparison; hyperscaler bills typically grow most at egress, where PrimeVistara today does not meter intra-VPC traffic.
  • Windows comparison is intentionally omitted in v1 — hyperscaler Windows pricing adds per-vCPU License Included that varies by family; PrimeVistara's Windows rate already includes Windows licensing.
  • Prices change. The numbers above are the rates returned by each provider's public pricing endpoint on the date shown; live rates may have moved.
