Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PrimeVistara Cloud ("PrimeVistara", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you use our website and cloud services. We operate India-first: customer data, logs and metadata are processed and stored within India.

1. Who we are

PrimeVistara Cloud is the data controller for account and website data, and a data processor for the content you run on the platform. For privacy queries, contact cloud@primevistara.cloud.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — name, work email, organisation, billing profile and GST details.
  • Usage & billing data — resource metering (compute, storage, network), invoices and payment records.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser, and audit logs for security and reliability.
  • Customer content — the data you store and process on the platform. We do not access it except as required to operate the service or as you instruct.

3. How we use data

To provide and secure the service, meter and bill usage, provide support, meet legal obligations, and communicate service and account information. We do not sell personal data.

4. Data residency

Customer content, logs and metadata are stored and processed within India and are not replicated across national borders. This supports compliance with Indian data-localisation expectations, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

5. Sharing

We share data only with sub-processors strictly necessary to deliver the service (e.g. payment processing), under contract and within India where feasible, or when required by Indian law.

6. Security

Encryption in transit and at rest, isolated networking, least-privilege access, audit logging and zone-redundant storage. See our Trust Center and Compliance pages.

7. Retention

We retain account and billing records as long as your account is active and as required by law. Customer content is retained per your configuration and deleted on account closure subject to legal holds.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or export of your personal data, and may withdraw consent. Email cloud@primevistara.cloud.

9. Changes

We will post updates here and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be notified to account holders.
